Just Curious, when will the athletic department release fundraising ideas. What is first, and when should we expect groundbreaking?

I believe I read somewhere that, with the obvious work going on at Hilton and the new academic building, the upgrades to Jack Trice were first on the list. I also heard the new sky boxes were almost all sold already so I'm sure they will want them ready as soon as possible.

Sorry, all I can offer is stuff I've heard/read so take it for what its worth.

Great attitude. Instead of holding ISU hostage, why don't you get your fellow cyclones together with you and campaign the local TV and radio stations and tell them you want the games. You are their customers-you "Git 'R done"

I can't wait to hear the plans. Just another chance to see JP do that thing he does. If the thought of getting the Jack bowled in and sold out on gameday doesn't make you stand up and start singing Fights, you must be dead.

Believe me,we have been trying, begging, helping find sponors, and kissing behinds for 40 years!! ISU needs to come over here and help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are 500,000 fans, and potential fans in the Quad Cities area. They're are missing a lot of donations, fans and athletes with basically NO media coverage.

I grew up in Davenport, and a Hawgeye fan(puke). I havent lived there for over 10 years now since going to ISU, but most people in the QC's couldnt pick the Cyclones logo out of a line up. I think its more the fact that the media bleeds black n yellow(not gold) they know that the majority of people want to see Iowa. Im not sure how much ISU can do to force our games onto tv or good radio stations in the area.

As true as your complaints about the QCs are, the sad truth is that the QC Times is more fair and less biased in their coverage than the Rag is...

If we all had your attitude we eventually have no coverage period-either lead, follow or get the hell out of the way. Holding ISU hostage with your donation isn't going to get you coverage

There's a reason there's less media coverage in the QC. If the ISU fans that are in the QC have the same attitude you do, the media WILL wait until we're a power before broadcasting in that area. However, if you want that to change sooner, you should contact your cable/satellite provider(s). If enough people contact them, they'll change their coverage plans. If you just sit by idly, nothing will change. It's up to you, not the University.

I heard that they will start work on Jack Trice immediately after the last football game is played this season.
