I can't say I disagree with you on the first two, but I could see this team getting hot and making an Elite 8 run in March. They certainly have enough if their match ups fell right.

You listed one fact, the Cyclones aren't (or won't be) a top 5 team.

As for the Big 12, I think it's a lofty goal but not one that can be proclaimed failed before non-con is even over.

Have u watched any other teams play? Iowa...likely a tourney team who has only 2 real players btw..nearly lost to a Drake team that will finish near last in the MVC. It's all about match ups..always has been. We are a team that runs and runs and destroys teams in the paint...we struggle with and have always struggled with teams that shoot a lot of threes. I think people are going to be surprised at the outcome of @Cinci.

Any team would have struggled with UNI yesterday. If they shoot 40 or even 50 percent from 3, which is still really good, we win that game.

I could see 3rd in the Big 12, but I could also see 6th or 5th. The UNI game has zero impact on those expectations. We really didn't learn anything new about the team. Conference play is always very tight and a few bounces going for or against you makes the difference.

The important thing is we remain healthy and get hot in March. The first one is already off to a bad start, which we knew last March.
