I haven't gotten one yet, but i'll have to check when I get home. I wonder if it's a higher donor level gift?

Do you have season FB or BB tickets?

My guess the flag was sent to all football seasons ticket buyers. The flyer that came with the flag states "Cyclone fans like you continue to show tremendous support with the purchase of seasons tickets. As a small token of our appreciation, please enjoy this Cyclone Nation flag."

Since it doesn't say anything about a donation, it is tied to the ticket purchase. BTW, if this was tied to a donation, the value would have reduced the charitable deduction for tax purposes. With JP as a CPA and our AD, I am sure he would avoid complicating our charitable deduction.

Both

I got one yesterday. I thought it was strange. Football tickets, States donor. We're very far from being a big donor.

No, I had one in the mail yesterday and I'm at the lowest donation level.
Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm Cardinal. Sounds like everyone will get one.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info!

I got a fairly good sized envelope from the Athletic Dept yesterday, but I doubt a flag could fit in it. :twitcy:

Damnit the one year I don't get football tickets.

We did and I am a little miffed. I just changed jobs like a month ago. In my old position, I was traveling to Italy and Brazil several times each year (a big reason for the job change - long distance travel like that is an awful grind). Anyway, I could have had some awesome pics with the damn thing - Now I don't go any farther than DSM Metro so no exciting pics.
