EDIT: Nevermind, after all the diff fees, with no checked bag or even a carryon, allegiant is $1325 for 2 people. I will layover instead with a diff airline.

For some reason they only have Des Moines to Vegas. Thursday to Sunday. It’s 650 per person without bag fees.

I posted on the other thread. Better prices out of Cedar Rapids. But crappy flight times. At least you can get to the game without switching planes.

I would never pay that.

Granted, prior to Covid you could fly Spirit red eye from KC for 150 round trip or something ridiculous like that. At those prices I'd drive to Minneapolis or KC if you could save 300-400 rt per person. At this moment, looking at adjacent dates I think you could fly RT for roughly 350-400 if you don't check a bag. Spirit can be great for a get away trip, but if you want to golf or bring a bunch of luggage the extra fees are out the nose.

Yeah I'd double check the date on that reservation because August 16 is the latest date you can currently book with them.. At least Southwest offers free ticket changes
