Tonight I actually agreed with something that Andy Fales said, during SoundOff he said that there is no reason for Jack Trice to not be full next weekend for Kansas. Show Coach Rhoads why there is no place he wants to be more than Iowa State, and show this team how much we are behind them. Please Show up on Saturday!

If we can get 50,000+ to show up to a Mizzou game in '08 for a sure-fire beatdown after losing 9 straight games in freezing weather there is absolutely no reason we can't get that many for what looks likely to be our 5th win after a monumental victory on what looks to be a nice Saturday in late October. The pessimism in me says it won't happen, but I hope my pessimistic side is full of crap. :smile:
The people on CF aren't the ones you need to be recruiting. It's your "casual" fan that doesn't usually go to games. Get them there. Free tickets for **** sake.

If we're serious about wanting what CPR is building, we need to show it and sell this thing out.
If we could get 50k to freeze against MO with no chance of winning and a team heading nowhere, we have to do that for a team that just beat Texas. If we want it to change, we have to step it up.

- Will it be 50,000? No, but hope I am wrong
- Is that sad? Yes
Given the relative level of success of all of our programs, ISU fans have done a pretty good job.
Personally, I am not going to get all wrapped up in an attendance number. I am going to enjoy this season, this team and this coaching staff. To those that want to stay in the yard and party instead of supporting the team with a ticket, not going to get worked up about it anymore.
Will be a decent crowd, but not earth shattering. With the Texas win and if nice weather remains, I am upping my prediction to 46k.
I have a ******* wedding on Saturday and can't make it, but my tickets are both in good hands.
I doubt we hit 50k. My wife and I had not planned on going initially, as I have a huge day on Monday to get ready for this weekend, but we've switched things around and we will be there.

Bad excuse. Pheasant population is so low in the state that they are thinking of significantly reducing the season next year. Give the pheasants a break and support the Cyclones. (PS I love to hunt too)
expect the hard-core backbone of fans to be there. Around 40-42k is that number. The rest often find other things to do this time of year.

All fanbases have their problems (even Texas does), but some of the excuses are beyond ridiculous.
I will be there with a buddy, a KU fan/alumni, and our wives, both shucker fans. Life can be miserable some Saturdays.
