Freaky Fast Delivery

I accidentally ordered something from China, then forgot about it and it showed up a year later like some sort of gift. Hahah. I have never had something be really fast like you though
El Azteca in Ames, I could usually be in and out of that place for a sit down meal in less than 12 minutes.
LMAO we had this happen during the Christmas season of 2020. My wife ordered a game for our son and it shipped from China. We completely forgot about it and it showed up like the following November.
The worst is when you place a pizza order early because the app shows that they are out about an hour and then it shows up in like 15 minutes. I've had this happen from the Grand West Des Moines Casey's numerous times.

Wife ordered TP during covid when things were getting crazy. Figured have some on order at least. They bumped out the date so we cancelled it when we found the routine for the TP locally. Over a year later, this old package from overseas shows up, had 6 tiny rolls of TP in it. If we had to have waited on that, we would have been turned into TP thieves.
There's a Chinese restaurant really close to my house. Whenever we used to call in the order, the owner would end every phone call the same way. "<$meal price>, 5 minutes!" and then immediately hang up.

not exceptionally fast but having an Amazon warehouse is a godsend. Ordered bike parts Tuesday night and had my bike fixed by Thursday
Same thing for me. I would call in the order right before I was ready to leave to pick it up.
You know, I thought the idea was strange, and wasn't sure it'd get much/any use, but I decided to get a bidet for one of my toilets a few years ago.
Fast forward a few years later (including the great TP shortage of 2020) and I can't envision myself living without one now. My eventual nursing home better have a bidet..
But on topic regarding quick deliveries...Szechuan House in Ames always impresses me with their speed and efficiency.
I've been tinkering with electronics lately. I've had some stuff show up insanely fast like next day and other stuff take months to show up from China. It's very weird how sometimes it'll seem like it'll take forever (assuming from china) and then you get a tracking notification saying it's shipping from a warehouse in St. Louis and vice versa.
I've been in situations where the other party was really disappointed in my quick delivery.
