3 pointers. He is a fantastic coach but i just wish he would learn how to coach against the 3 pointer. Yeah i know never critisize Fred but in the off season he needs to really figure out how to stop it.

Can't say I agree. Baylor would of made a half courted if they would of thrown it up tonight. They were making contested 3s, they were flat out hot from 3.

It does seem like we're always chasing the shooter. I saved myself some anguish and quit watching at the 5 minute mark.

A big part is they were hot but I just don't understand why we overplay the ball so much and allow people go get in the lane so easily.
Puts so much stress on our D and we get torched so often.
It's obviously Fred's philosophy though because everyone does it on the perimeter.

BS. Outside of Chery, most were in rhythm and WIDE open. The made them because we senselessly doubled the pass, leaving the return man open for a 3. The others? Baylor's ball movement coupled with our cluelessness with rotations and awareness gave them even more looks.

Fred's game management down the stretch was terrible, especially the subs once we got the lead. I get flamed for bringing it up, but the management concerns are real. Tonight they were manifested.

Here nor there
You are the worst.

It is not a know how issue. It all starts in the paint, and we have been physically weak there for 3 years...the end result has been pretty damn good though.

Baylor is a good team. Time to move on to a talented KSU squad.

Basically this.

42 pts from three. Interrupt just a couple of those and you have chance for a different outcome. Too many different players tonight and too many teams all season beat us with the three. It is more than luck on their part - need better D on the 3.

No. Baylor shot a lot of wide open threes tonight. You do that, you get in a rythym, and you start raining threes. Iowa St has struggled to guard the three all season. There is no magic curse that lets the opponent have career nights from behind the arc 90% of the time against us. It's bad defense. It's gonna be the end of us in the NCAA's. What a terrible freaking showing tonight. Wow.

( I'm not bashing any player or coach personally so chill.)

It was just a pathetic night. How many rediculous turnovers and quick shots did we have? That freaking killed us. No excuse.

Will they respond? Probably, but they've got to figure out how to sustain success.

We live by the three and die by the three on Defense not offense. You can't let a team close a 7 point lead in 30 seconds at home, you just cant
