Friday OT #1 - Brand Loyalty

Thanks to Mapnerd for this idea! Do you have any items to which you have a particular brand loyalty? Do you always get Charmin toilet paper (duh), or never buy Ford/Chevy, etc.? What won't you get generic, and what will you?

For food and domestic goods, I'll give generics, no-names and store brands a shot any time. There are probably more names I'll shun than brands I'd favor, but for anything tech, it's APPLE all the way. I won't sacrifice my sanity.

I only buy Heinz ketchup. My wife can buy some other brand and put it in an old Heinz bottle and I can tell it is not Heinz.

I more have brands that I am NOT loyal to. For example, I don't shop at Wal-Mart and have never been to a Starbucks. I will never own an iPhone, iPad, other device from Apple. I do have a Macbook Pro but it's reaching the end of its life and I will probably buy a Windows laptop when it does die.

There are some good ones in here already.

- Subaru, when possible. (We don't have one right now, and it gives me the sadz.)
- Charmin.
- Crest.
- Adidas. (That way I can sing Run-DMC whenever I wear them.)
- Diet Coke.
- Heinz.
- Kraft mac and cheese.
- Pop-Tarts (Toast 'Ems are trash).
- A&E milk and chip dip.
