Where did you all go for spring break while you were in college?

We just setup our rental house for the week in Panama City Beach!

Bonus Question: Girls or no girls? Like bringing them down with us in our group. Our group is pretty divided on this. One side says girls = more fun and the other says girls = more drama. They also say they want to meet girls that they'll never see again in their lives.

Never did one. Unless you count California for a week in April looking at farms.

Haven't been on a trip yet, although this year me and my friends plan on going to March Madness, where ever that may be.

The bigger question is why PCB. That place is dirty and not the good kind of dirty either.

Never did a traditional 'spring break' trip per se, but that time of year ISU was usually paying me (and the rest of the basketball band) to go to Big 12\NCAA tournaments, so that was nice.

Look into going to the Big 12 tournament if you haven't thought of it. We went last year for the Friday and Saturday games. If I could do it again, I'd leave early and get down there for the first game on Thursday. Power & Light District, great food in the city, everything's pretty close (and KC is close to Ames to begin with), just an all-around good way to spend a few days without blowing a ton of money, and if you're a student it just means starting your spring break a little early.

I wanted Vegas. But they wanted more of a traditional Spring Break trip. And we've heard from lots of people SPI is over rated

PCB is right there by Alabama. You're going to be in deliverance country. I've partied up that way all of twice and both times I expected to wake up in a bath tub of ice and no kidneys.

I think you'll have fun either way because its college spring break though.

Went to South Padre Island, brought girls, they did their own thing, we did our own things, but they were also very helpful in the clubs because they were good friends with all us guys. Basically like having female wingmen, if you don't have female friends like that leave them behind.

Don't remember spring breaks. Seems like we started late in January and dismissed early in May...but, then again, there was so much more to learn then than now.

I worked. My parents didn't have the money for something like that.

Get ready to hear the following at all hours of the day

"Chug it! Chug it Chug it"
"PCB!!!"
"Show us your ****!"
"Whooooooo!!"

Which i guess may not be all that bad, but it was a running joke of a friend of mine when down there. Three days of that place was enough.

I never did a traditional spring break, but when I studied abroad in Australia we had a 2 week spring break where we traveled up the coastline which was amazing. Bungee jumped, skydived, white water rafted, jeeped through the rain forest to waterfalls, and dove the GBR all within like a week. Rest of the time was partying in beach towns.

Still paying for this f'n trip like 10 years later. The GF is not impressed.

I did it once, I went to the Ritz Carlton in Jamaica.........played golf everyday at the White Witch, then hit up awesome local restaurants every night then some killer bars. Plus they had their own local "gardener" that hooked us up with some smokey treats.

It was pretty much the best trip i have ever taken.

If you count a free Caribbean cruise with my then fiance (now wife) family then yes. The best part was it was the week before ISU's spring break so we had a two week spring break.

Other than that it was spent in Ames or back in Marion.

A good friend of mine is married to a girl from Panama City Beach. She says it's the best place in the world.......11 months of the year. She got the heck out of town when the crazy college kids came down. They'd trash their town and then leave 6 days later.

Our intern went to Cancun with some girlfriends last year. That looked super fun.
