Intriguing to have the same opponent for first and last conference game. Reminds me of in early-'80s-ish when Big Ten did each team in first half of schedule, then reversed it for the last half. Not sure why I remember that.

Tech at home is winnable, aren't they in disarray?

Glass half-full, it's a very new team, having the tougher games early might be a good thing, they should be improved when the more winnable games happen later.

I expect Tech to slide back to its typical level, but it might take another season or so before it's noticeable. Total guess on my part.

I’m not really sure what games are really winnable. Our frontcourt is going to be really poor defensively. Talent is better overall though than last year. It’s hard to know how other teams will be anymore with everyone transferring or going to the g league all the time. Look forward to getting back into Hilton though with 100% crowds being allowed.

Tech has had our number in Hilton the last three seasons, particularly the last couple of years where they've just plain smoked us on our own home floor. I think they will be down, so that might be a winnable game for us. If nothing else, we owe them.

Conditt, Foster, Kunc, and Jones will hold their own.

I just realized how I’m totally in football mode and also have not paid much attention to college basketball and the big 12 the last couple of years. My first thought was “Baylor and Tech isn’t a terrible start” and then I remembered this was basketball and Baylor just won the natty. It’s nice to actually be excited fir basketball again though!
