Not saying we'll beat Tech, but we both have new coaches this year, I'm not sure anything that happened in the past applies.
Hope so. I think we’ll have a good understanding after the non con, plenty of good teams to measure against.

OU is probably the best shot
Yeesh! 0-4 to start big 12? Not crazy given who we start with.
Goodness, if we are 1-10 to start conference, it will be ugly around here….even in year one of TJ.Could nab one of Tech or OU, probably not both. ... OU at home I'd take, at OU not as certain. Tech is kind of wild card how far things will fall off after Beard departure.
It's within realm of possibility to start 0-6 (and that could swell to 1-10). I'd hope we could beat TCU at home for goodness sake, for a change.

I’m not really sure what games are really winnable. Our frontcourt is going to be really poor defensively. Talent is better overall though than last year. It’s hard to know how other teams will be anymore with everyone transferring or going to the g league all the time. Look forward to getting back into Hilton though with 100% crowds being allowed.
The roster Tech is rolling out this year is not that great. Terrence Shannon will by far be their best player, and Marcus Santos-Silva will be solid. But after that they don't have much. With no Chris Beard on the sideline, and less talent on the roster. Tech is about to take a big step back.Tech has owned us in Hilton. OU is probably the best shot

A lot of mystery heading into it ... almost a completely different roster. Coach who is unproven as HC at this level. Win total likely to be low, but a majority of the time more entertaining to watch. Hoping for hints of progress.

I've written before that 10 wins would be good enough for me, and I'm sticking by that. Anything beyond that would be gravy for me.

10 is my exact target.
I think folks are right that the meltdowns at 1-10 in conference play would happen, but I also think that people don't realize how far there is to go from 2-22.
