At ISU, wouldn't it be more logical to have an offense that involves less skill positions and more power (like Nebraska of old and Iowa)? It's hard to find speed in Iowa.

I would be very happy with this offense though if Herman gets it to work!

I agree, I just don't think that Herman is going to get the speed guys like he had at Rice come to Iowa State. I wish we just would get back to more of a running game, the way we run the spread just does not seem to work.

Well he's getting them in West, Lampkin, Money, Gary etc. Give it time.

CPR said Josh Lenz is the fastest WR on the team. Runs a 4.5x 40. Only guy to run under 4.60.

Yea, that white kid from Iowa is faster than all those Florida/Texas guys. Speed needs to be developed, not just recruited. Because those fast high school kids go to the SEC and Big 12 south.

It's also probably not true. Rhoads said Williams was the fastest player on the team last year. Did he get slower?

Rhoads says a lot of things he doesn't really mean, for the sake of satiating the media's questions. He could say Osemele is the fastest player on the team and people on here would believe it.

Whoa! Osemele is the fastest player on the team?! That shocks me. For being the fastest on the team, you would think he wouldn't get beaten off the line all the time.

(Yes, I just said beaten off the line. I tried to re-write it, but couldn't think of any other way to word it and still make my point.)
