I said in an earlier post that Washington is smart and makes the calls for the dbacks. That is it. In Iowa State's defense, the majority of the time they have the same responsibilities other than that.
I have no problem recognizing Washington's strengths which are his intelligence and his knowledge of the tendencies etc. The coaches have praised him on those things in the past.
He is a horrible tackler for a safety, however. I just found it comical that people are bashing Gage when Washington has been missing tackles or shying away from tackles all year and no one seems to care.
