What do you all think? I hope like crazy we win. However, I am not at all confident, and I need someone here to convince me otherwise.

On one hand, Missouri is coming off a huge win against a ranked Texas team. They may have a little hangover from that game. On the other hand, Missouri plays a pressure defense that ISU struggles against with mediocre guards. Here is a quote from an article in the DMR:

Brackins also will get his first dose of Missouri's pressure defense, which can come at you from all directions at any time.

"Wes hates it with a passion,'' Brackins said. "Rahshon (Clark) said it's one of the best presses in the country. They told me, 'Don't be scared. Just be ready.' ''

It has been obvious from the beginning of the season that we can win games when the opponents play a half court defense, but when they play a pressure defense (full court or 3/4 court), we lose more often than not.

Is anyone else from the DSM area going despite the snow? I'm going to play it by ear.

My bold prediction for the night

Haluska will hit his first three of the year tonight, I can feel it.

Brian, do you think you could post a wager regarding this? Just a simple will he or won't he. Thanks.

Missouri is 0-3 on the road. The key will be defense and rebounding. Mizzou is a high scoring team, and they will give up easy baskets. We will get ours, but we need to defend tonight, and I think we will. Cycones win!

And Rahshon will jump so high for a dunk, they will have to pull him down from the rafters.

Its not going to be bad, and the heaviest snow is supposed to come between 3am and 9am Thursday......no reason to not go to the game.

I'm from Ankeny and I've never missed a game because of snow yet. 35/30 is usually good enough to get their.

The KU game was pretty bad last year but we still had a decent showing. I hope people come out for the retirement of Barry's Jersey.

What's the over/under on turnovers for ISU in this game? I say if the Cyclones turn it over less than 15 times, we win. Chances of that becoming reality? ? ?

My bold prediction is that Stephon Hannah will look very fast.

Re: My bold prediction for the night

5 to 1, given a normal shooting percentage of 33% and the fact he hasn't hit one yet this year.

Sorry...I'm not Brian but, I bet that he won't.
Further, I am willing to bet that he'll play 10 mins again and have one rebound and possibly a steal. Considering that half of his season total for steals came in the FIRST game of the season...I'm not too sure he'll even have that steal. Let's see -oh yeah...I bet that he gets scored on repeatedly. That should just about cover it.
