I liked the combo we wore yesterday. We get to choose whatever jerseys we want…..

Haliburton would be the easy pick and probably the best one. People that follow sports outside of Iowa know who he is and he had a real shot at NBA rookie of the year.
Also, if ISU fans don't show up for it, Iowa fans will. Recruits will be watching it. Fans should put on a good show and not let it be overrun by Hawk fans. It's coming whether you like it or not. The people coming from ESPN have nothing to do with conference realignment; moreover, ESPN's single biggest Cyclone backer will be there in Chris Fallica. I realize people are pissed about everything that's gone on. The more beneficial thing for us to put on a good show.
Wow this post should get an award.I’d like to see Keith Murphy as the picker. Closest thing we have to a local celebrity and a good dude that does everything he can to sugarcoat this failing state.
Better enjoy it because it might be the last time they are ever in Ames.Agree and I am one of those but mostly due to the circumstances.
Everyone loves Alan Jackson
If that adds gas to the fire, it's because hawk fans are the ones who will be adding the gas. Iowa State will be in no way responsible for that
And we may also be at that point. I hate the Iowa fan base and realistically will for the rest of my life. I don't hate the university or players or coaches, but there are enough ******** in that fanbase that it almost impossible for me to cheer for them. At most, I want Iowa to win one football game per season for the rest of time.
Good. **** them. I don’t give two ***** about them. If the players and Campbell (you know, the people that actually decide it) determine they want to wear all black just because they know the little piss babies in Iowa City will cry and piss themselves about it, more power to them. **** the Hawkeyes.Respectfully, I disagree with some of your take. JP has made it a point to "poke" Iowa from day one. It is not a reach for Hawk fans to see wearing the all black unis this week would be intended to incite and fuel the rivalry even further.
The rivalry is already "stoked" to levels I have never seen in over 50 years of living. An already emotional week, combined with other societal factors, will not take much to create a truly hostile environment. I don't mean hostile the way we usually use it with sports. I mean hostile as in potentially violent. Anything, not just uniform choices, can push it over the edge.
OK, I can tell you don't go to the games - you just follow the fringe fans on social media. The rivalry is already "stoked" to levels I have never seen in over 50 years of living. Yes, JP has always been fairly brash towards Iowa, which for a civilized person would never be more than sports related trash talk.Respectfully, I disagree with some of your take. I disagree that it isn't a reach. Yes, JP has occassionally trolled, but that's also because Iowa State has for decades been treated as second class citizens in this state by the media and Iowa fans.Respectfully, I disagree with some of your take. At this point I would be disappointed if we didn’t wear the all blacks.Good. **** them. I don’t give two ***** about them. Hawks losing their minds on that Twitter announcementAt this point I would be disappointed if we didn’t wear the all blacks.
