I'm not trying to rip on either of these two so take it easy, I was just wondering if I am the only one who wouldn't be that upset if neither came back next year. With out them I think we could be better off.

1)This would allow for Hamilton to grow more

2)I think we would play more as a team, I feel this two are the reason that we don't now

3)I think we need to start over, I know we think we need to win now but these two are obviously not the answer, so lets see how Hamilton, Colvin, Dendy, Ejim, Railey, Oliver, exc.. develop and maybe we can finally get that elusive winning season

This is a well thoughtout argument. Completely wrong, but well thoughtout.

Better off without Brackins or Gilstrap? I don't see how that's remotely possible. That's putting WAY too much pressure on the incoming recruits to save us. That hasn't worked out well for us. Hamilton can develop just fine with Gilstrap in the lineup next year.

Brackins and Gilstrap are NOT the problem. Team chemistry maybe, injuries, defections, it factor, passing to the post, whatever- but if we were picking teams for rec ball, you can take your guys and I'll take these two. I doubt it will be a close game.

Are we sure Hamilton will continue to grow next year when other teams actually care about him?

its not their fault we don't have a point guard who can dish and score and Colvin is only a freshman.

I just feel if we're not winning with them now, i dont think we ever will

I think the Hawks are taking on new fans...apparently they ran out of fans with this thinking...Tom Davis...we'll never get over the hump with him...Steve Alford...Todd Lickliter...see the trend?

No....just no. The losing is definetly not on those two, and if we didnt have them we would have lost more. The losing is on the coaches, the guards and all the bad luck.
