Goal line stand at the end of the half

I watch a ton of college football and I have seen goal line stands like that reviewed at least 50 times. And I have NEVER seen it overturned, because there is NEVER an angle that is definitive enough to overturn the perspective of the guys on the field. That play was exactly the case. Did he really get in? I don't THINK so. Others might THINK he did. But NO ONE can confirm it. And neither can the replay ref. There is NO WAY that should have been overturned.

I am so freaking sick of getting ****ed by the refs EVERY SINGLE WEEK!

Fired. Anyone that shows that amount of favoritism on a highly inconclusive replay that was ruled not a TD and looked not to be a TD by everyone. Even OSU fans didn't think it was a TD.

I can handle bad calls by the on the field refs. I can not handle bad calls by the replay booth. Unreal.

I'm ready for the blasting I'm about to get. The last angle they showed, pretty clear that the tip of the ball crossed the goal line.

That angle was not directly down the goal line. It was from inside the field of play so the angle looks deceiving. It should not have been overturned.

If we kept record of conference apology letters like other schools keep record of wins, we would have a national championship trophy by now.

It really makes you wonder if the conference has an agenda in place to ensure the teams with the better chance of going to a bowl get the benefit of the doubt.

I'd have to agree there's really no point in reviewing plays when we generally know what the outcome will be... A fumble at the goal line gets no review, and a stop that doesn't appear to show any definitive evidence to overturn the call gets reversed, it's a load of crap, and as usual, we're at the bottom of the dung heap.

Granted, it never should have happened, fundamentals are coached from pee-wee f-ball on up, every returner knows that's a live ball... The defense did their job, the officials didn't. If an apology is forthcoming, I'm sure they'll be some kind of spin to justify the reasoning behind one of the worse calls I can remember.

That said, it's up to us to take the outcome out of incompetent officials hands, and just KICK THEIR *** IN THE 2ND HALF!!!
