When I was younger I lived in Tempe and almost got into a fight with a little guy. Then my buddy noticed his ears and his Arizona Dtate wrestling jacket hanging on a bar stool. I immediately told the guy he wasn’t worth my time so I could save face and left the bar. My buddy just looked at me and said you know you were about to get beat up right. I was like oh yeah, that’s why I decided I should leave

Someone should've told this to those OU football players. Cauli ears plus ranch boots would be an extra no-no.

While fairly amusing the behind group was pretty damn aggressive. I haven't seen the long version and don't know just how annoying the drunks were for how long but as essentially a professional fighter, waiting to tune up some drunk golfers is pretty sad.
I've seen the full version. The beating was well overdue.

Maybe but in the extended version it sounded like the two drunks were being obnoxiously slow and at first the behind group was just telling them to get their a*ses moving. Hockey guy didn't do anything until the "tough guy" came at him and initiated.
The hockey guy said “these guys have been waiting 23 minutes to tee off” at one point. That implied to me that the hockey guy wasn’t even in the group directly behind them, but actually 2 groups, at least, behind the drunks.

I also assume everyone has been waiting this long for several holes. The scuffle happened on hole 15. So, my guess is there was a lot building up to this moment.

Also those dudes should not have been driving a golf cart. They definitely should be escorted off the course.

SIAP, but this is a pretty impressive video. NSFW language warning.

The big guy who tosses the Hawaiian shirt guy in the lake is rumored to be former NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky, which confirms that age old adage: "Don't get into a fight with former NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky"

Some impressions from while I was watching:
Camera holder sounds Canadian.
Hawaiian shirt dude has massive short man syndrome.
Excessive alcohol consumption is probably not a good idea on a golf course.
Big dude seems to think he's Batman from the 60s TV show (Biff! Bamm!! KaPOW!!!)
I thought golf was supposed to be fun and relaxing...I guess these guys didn't get that memo?

All in all, from what I can gather, drunk Hawaiian shirt guy and his buddy were apparently taking too long at each hole, and wouldn't allow the bigger group to play through, right?

This event occurred in Canada.

I'm not a golfer but could understand how frustrating it must be to play behind those idiots. At the same time, is it worth it to beat the crap out of a guy that much smaller than you who has no clue what's going on? Haven't seen any follow up but if there is some sort of charges, or if he loses his job seems like a high price to pay for spending some extra time out on a golf course? Like someone else said, let the golf course marshal handle it.

I probably would've hit into/around them off a tee (those dudes are finding a fairway) or just skipped their hole entirely. Calling the course isn't a guarantee of results, that depends heavily on the course.

The game grew too much and needs shrank some again.

I live on a course. I haven't seen any haymakers thrown, but I'll keep my camera handy

Unfortunately I have seen more peckers than I'd like. My pecker tolerance is zero so any peckers put me out of my comfort zone.

But I'd love to see a couple of these macho pink shirt, while belt wearing guys throw hands!

Note to self peckers doesn’t get screened…

Golf isn't a sport, it's a frustration.
This is a 30+ year debate I've had with one of my best friends. He's an avid golfer, I'm not. He insists it's a sport. I insist that golf is not a sport. It's a skill game. A sport requires some form of athletic and/or cardiovascular exertion. I put golf in there with darts and billiards. The most athletic thing it requires is walking. Not a sport.
