Anyone use this? Looking at switching from Sprint but sceptical of service. Thanks for the insight.
I have had it for about 2 years now. I am in the Des Moines/Ames area most of the time and have no issues here. When I go back to my parents though in SW Iowa, it gets a little spotty. But they are not really by any major towns.

We've had it for a couple years. Having a device that supports network switching can really help with coverage.

Google Fi uses the Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular cell towers. So if you are happy with Sprints coverage, you should be happy with Google Fi. Not sure if coverage will get better with Sprint and T-Mobile merging.

I've been using it almost a year now. I would say the only time I lost coverage was driving through the mountains of West Virginia, But coverage there is spotty at best.
Loving the $35-$40 monthly bill. Of course I rarely use data as I am on wifi +95% of the time

Had it for over four years and love the low cost as I don't use much data (always around wifi). I suggest downloading the signal info app as it helps you switch providers if you're having issues with one.

I switched from Verizon to Fi about a year ago. It's best to use a google approved phone to get the best coverage.

Yes, When I switched I bought a Pixel 4. I was leasing the other phone and waited until I was at the end of the lease period.

As others have said make sure you get the FI enabled phone as those are the only ones able to take advantage of the T-Mobile, Sprint, USCellar towers. Non Fi enabled phones run on T-Mobile towers only. Would not recommend FI if you don't switch phone or have a FI enabled phone one as you lose out on some of FI report benefits.
