So I tried Bing today because it seems like Google keeps giving me some virus when I try to search. I actually like Bing better. I like the layout and the general asthetics of the site, as well as the results.

So, for those of you who have tried both, which do you like better?

I still use Google as my primary search engine but I use Bing a lot in the last few months. Never bothered with it until early summer and grew to like it.

Google, I repeat, GOOGLE is not giving you a virus. The links you click on are what gives you a virus and only you can control your fingers.

Indeed. And if somehow virus stuff is popping up when you go to google, you're already infected.

Well, I guess the Humane Society website infected me? It's my work laptop, and I rarely use it for personal use, or even connect it to the internet.

It's non-relevant, because I use Bing now, and I have no problems with it.

lol. i see what you did there. make a thread with 3 options, where the obvious choice was the middle one, making the graph look very inappropriate. well played sir.... well played.

I only use Bing to search for google. That way, the people at Bing know who's actually boss.

Also, I doubt Bing would have ANY searches if it wasn't the default for IE. Anybody stupid enough to use IE probably is too stupid to change their default engine to Google.

The commercials for Bing amuse me. If you are looking for plane tickets to Hawaii and search for "Hawaii", the search engine didn't fail you, you just suck at searching.

the only time I use bing is when I type in google too fast in IE and screw up the name and then it takes me to bing automatically. Thank goodness for firefox and chrome so that doesn't happen too much any more.

I "Yahoo!" primarily, but use Google as well. I use Bing on my cellphone. The one thing I like about Yahoo, it warns you of any known malware, or phishing sites. I have yet to see Google issue the same warnings. I don't know yet if Bing warns you about these sites, or not. I find Yahoo! search meets my needs quite adequately the majority of the time.

A lot of hate for Bing here! And not just hate, but vicious hatred. I expected Google to win the poll. I was more curious about people's opinion on Bing and figured I'd throw a poll in for the heck of it.

Why the hatred for Bing? I'm not seeing much for actual reasons why people hate Bing. Is there a reason or is everyone just used to "Googling"?
