Grey helmets?

Are these real? @cycloneuniforms posted these this morning. If these are fake that's a hell of a photo shop job with the light reflection and each one grey. The players are loving these on twitter

Have to say the I-STATE logo looks really good on grey. Whether it's good with a particular uniform remains to be seen.

Love the gray but disappointed we wouldn't go with the Matte finish. It looks way better and the kids love it.

That is an impressive photoshop, seems they would have had to select each helmet to color as there are other similar colored items not changed. If its photoshopped, they took some time to do it. What's the original photo used?

Actually, IF it's photoshopped, it wouldn't be as hard as you think. You can grayscale a duplicate image and then paste those gray helmets on top of the existing cardinal helmets, and then erase the grayscale I-STATE logos to get the color logos on the gray helmets.

But yes, I want to see the "original" image.

Generally I like CycloneUniforms ideas, but I never liked any of the gray stuff they did. Now that they're making gray helmets I'm getting really worried that whoever is in charge of our uniform design is not very good.

This is not real. The helmets in the background on the wall are red, not grey.

Also several of the IState logos on the helmets appear 'foreign' to the rest of the picture.

I'm not saying they're not fake, but that's not a reason. Unless ISU changes their primary helmet color to grey, there would still be cardinal helmets on the wall/shelf.

The biggest indicator of "fake" to me is the helmets themselves - there is almost no color whatsoever in the reflections in the helmets. The helmets just look grayscale.

It's a grey helmet, it's not going to reflect any color except grey.
