I really used to like hockey when I was in high school. Then they had a strike and ****** me off.

Now I don't know who hardly any of the players are.

So can hockey fans answer this question for me: why do refs let guys fight? 99% of the time they could easily step in a put a stop to the action, but don't. Why?

And then tonight I see a highlight from some game where two guys are tangled up, one guy falls and pulls the other guy head first to the ice. Dude ends up with a concussion, but is lucky he didn't snap his neck. Refs could have broken that up right off the bat, but just stood around watching, waiting for........ well, I guess I have no idea.

Let the players tire themselves out so it is easier to break them up. Unless it's a complete mismatch.
