I have a friend that is looking to get his father out hunting one last year. The ideal situation would be to have a hard sided blind to help protect him from the elements. Does anybody know if anybody caries them in the Des Moines area or by chance have one for sale? Any ideas is appreciated.

Thanks!

It’s tough to beat the Muddy blinds but they are a bit pricey. You can get a lot cheaper, but the quality difference is easy to see. Most local outdoor stores( Bass Pro, Fleet Farm, Sportsman’s, etc) will have some sort of blind. I’ve also seen some new ones called Lazy Man Stands that look pretty affordable, a quick google search should get you some info.

Thanks! Sent on the LazyMan Stands as they have a dealer close to them.

What season are they going to hunt? Unless it is just crazy cold you could get away with a portable blind with a Mr Buddy Heater and lawn chairs.
