I would keep Harden and either sign him to a long term deal or let him go and take the draft picks. Those two draft picks are more valuable than what we could get for him right now.

Whoever it is can have Heilman for a bucket of bp balls...

Harden on the other hand, I am starting to think you bring him back next year. He has been pretty good the past two months...

I think gocubs2118 summed the Harden situation up perfectly.

I'm sure they'll let Heilman go, Harden they probably just want to see what someone would give them in a trade but bet he is pulled back.

Hopefully they put Soriano and Bradley on waivers too and someone is dumb enough to take their huge contracts off our hands. I don't care if we get a bag of balls in return for both of them, surely they could use all that saved money to make some smarter acquisitions this offseason.

Soriano is owed like $90 mil... So I doubt it.

Seriously, is there any way to fix the Cubs for the future?
They have too much money tied up in bad outfielders and they have never had a farm system that produced position players.
I want to have some hope, but baseball is just turning into an early summer sport to hold me over until fall practice for football.
