Oh, goodness. We just got back from the wbb game (frustrating) and decided to have a drink at the bar. We both ordered a gin martini, dry, olive. Different gin, same everything else.
This is what I got. Sweet vermouth is red, by the way.

Olive got added later and it did not help the flavor. At all.
For those who don’t drink or don’t drink gin martinis, gin is clear. Dry vermouth is clear.
We’re being very polite.

TO BE CLEAR: THIS IS NOT LIFE SIZE.
Shaken or stirred?

Just to keep you updated, even though you didn't ask! LOL. I didn't make the trip to Mt. Ayr today to deliver my old trailer, and it looks like that was a good decision. The buyer agreed on Monday, so I plan to spend Sunday afternoon and stay overnight with my son and head back home on Monday after I deliver it. If you spot a white Chevy HD with a 24-foot trailer parked at Menards, that's mine. I called and they said I could park it overnight if I made a purchase, so I guess I'll just leave the receipt on the dashboard.

On another note, it's calving season here! We’ve already had the first births, and two little ones are enjoying this weather!
Awww...we were never at the ranch early enough to hit calving season...we couldn't go down until school was out for the year. Every now & again there was a straggler. Fed a few baby goats in my time, though. My great aunt Doll had the goats roaming all over the place and it seemed like there was always a new kid somewhere. :D

Is this a retired guy euphemism?
Maybe

The only times I have had a Martini was at the Pittsburgh airport Hyatt. But that was actually billed as a Martini bar

Just realized that with so little snow this year I had not made and thrown a snowball all winter. Took care of that a few moments ago.

One snowball.
One throw.
One ginko tree trunk struck.

This is important little boy trapped in an old man stuff!

Well quite a diverse day of cultural activities for me today, wbb in KC till the 4th qtr of the Baylor OSU game, then skipped the 4th to go to the KC opera, it was a mariachi opera about a family who's husband went north then his wife died in the desert trying to join him, then him and his son become estranged but the daughter of his U.S. son gets them to reunite on his death bed. About 90 minutes and quite poignant. I would recommend. Cruzar la Cerade la Luna was the title.
Also the head of the Mexican consulate in KC is quite attractive.

The men bb thread is multiple pages mainly discussing the legitimacy of Drake getting a mbb tourney bid. Pretty humorous actually.

I should text set up lady and say that I'm still interested. Didn't hear anything yesterday and as of Friday the girl said she was thinking about it.
Don’t. My opinion is that she isn’t highly interested. Best to let it simmer a little bit. When they are thinking about it, it’s most likely a no go. In these situations, patience is the best. If she had a bad relationship, eager is not good.

I have a feeling that after tourney time, it may be best to take a break from CF with how riled up many of the threads are becoming. The off season is probably going to be full on nut city.
