Sad. Talked with neighbors parents. They had been waiting outside in their car since around 1:30 and wanted to let them know if they need a bathroom break they could use my house. They told me their son committed suicide. :(
Had they talked with police or did they already know? Either way it’s awful.

They called the police when they could not get a hold of their son. They were there when police came to my house asking if I had seen the guy recently, all prior to sheriff bashing down the door. Tough situation. They asked if I knew their son and I did only in passing and mentioned "He was a very private guy" and the mother said "Yes, even with us." The guy was a real loner. Lived next door to me for years and I can't remember the last time I saw anyone there besides him and hired help. The mother said he had mental health and drinking issues and had lost his company. Wasn't but a couple of years ago he was driving a Lamborghini supercar and more recently a Bentley convertible. Don't think his family was ever over there at all.

They are still next door, now with a restoration and cleanup company. Been a horrible day for them. :(

Is the Bentley still there?

On a more serious note, I had a 2nd cousin commit suicide when he was mid30s, I had lost touch with him over the yrs but as a teen, he really seemed to be great, good looking, fun, smart etc. Was stunned when it happened. I guess you never know what is going on in other people's lives.

That's for sure. Mental health is an important issue in this world.
My niece committed suicide in her dorm room while at Northern Iowa May 2014. She wanted to be a social worker. Beautiful, good student, religious, boyfriend, popular, athlete in school and started a lacrosse club at Northern Iowa. She sent flowers and a normal note to my SIL that morning.. She was on twitter almost everyday with normal like tweets of random and funny things. Good relationship with family. Shocked everyone that knew her. Even when you think you know, you don't know what's really in the human mind and hidden from others.
RIP, Kellie.

my goodness Microsoft support is terrible! I thought I bought the one-time purchase of Microsoft Office and my wife just got an email with an order receipt for an annual subscription as well. So I'm potentially being double-charged for Office on one computer. When I tried to call a support number, it just said to go to Microsoft.com and hung up on me. The Microsoft help website was not any help.

Got home decided I'm just going to let the snow melt. Wind blew hard enough there is a drift behind my pickup in the garage.
On s side note hadn't caught a mouse for quite awhile. The trap had one today.

Colds are no fun. Not at man-cold level...I did work from home yesterday and today. (Yesterday weather....today scheduled) But I hope I get over this before we go to KC on Wednesday.

Just to keep you updated, even though you didn't ask! LOL. I didn't make the trip to Mt. Ayr today to deliver my old trailer, and it looks like that was a good decision. The buyer agreed on Monday, so I plan to spend Sunday afternoon and stay overnight with my son and head back home on Monday after I deliver it. If you spot a white Chevy HD with a 24-foot trailer parked at Menards, that's mine. I called and they said I could park it overnight if I made a purchase, so I guess I'll just leave the receipt on the dashboard.

On another note, it's calving season here! We’ve already had the first births, and two little ones are enjoying this weather!

Nice. It seem like a nice little town? I've never been there, and I actually won't be going through town; it's the closest town to where this farm is. The guy bought my trailer without seeing it in person, so that makes me a little nervous, although it's good for its age. I bought an aluminum trailer.
I have his money and an agreement he bought sight unseen as long as four things measure up to my ad, and they do, so I am dropping it off there somewhere.

Never been there, but I've wanted to go there to surprise the people I know. It's my old landlord and his wife. They own a like a rock crushing/excavation business.

Buy some beef jersey.

Or you could buy something and return it in your way home.
