Not sure if this is allowed to post on here, so feel free to take it down. I designed this canvas after Iowa State beat #1 Oklahoma in Hilton. The quote came from Monte, and the graphic turned out really well. I made it for a friend, and have had several other people request that I make it for them as well. I made a Etsy account and listed it on there. I might not sell a single one, but figured I would at least try.

I created a 10% off coupon code for Cyclone Fanatic, it is "CycloneFanatic".

Sorry to be that guy, but any way to put Monte's name on there and/or the game, date, score, etc?

May not be enough room or maybe that crosses a legal line?

I avoided putting Monte's name on it for this very reason, also trademarking, copyrighting, etc. I am really not very clear on what crosses that line, so I made it as simple as possible.

how can the NCAA have jurisdiction over a private person making a piece of art that in no way benefits Morris or ISU financially?

You're new to college sports aren't you?

A few things they could come after you for:

-The use of Iowa State University in the title
-The use of Hilton Magic in the title - I believe they have that phrase trademarked
-The use of Hilton in the background
-The use of a cardinal / gold color scheme
-The use of the words Cyclones and Iowa State in the description

I would recommend you add a disclaimer dissociating from ISU and even then, they could still come after you.
