I just vote for the top 5 and don't even worry about doing the rest of the numbers. I don't think they get points taken away for being listed 22.

I'm guessing voting Kansas as #22 is worse for them than not voting for them at all. I would think that the system takes the average ranking for each team from all the votes, then orders them in that manner.

So not voting for Kansas at all would not effect there standing at all, while voting them #22 would decrease their 'average score'.

For the record you can vote for 1-6 and then put Kansas at 22 and hit submit without having to fill in the 7-21 teams.
