All the KU fans around me were cheering for KState yday. Like they are scared or something.

KC loves ISU fans. We've been to a couple of establishments and the people there knew that ISU won. Through out the city you see ISU fans waking down the streets. You better believe that the people of KC wants ISU to win.

I am sorry, but KU "fanbase" is the biggest bandwagon fan base in the country. I see kids walk around because they think it is "cool" to wear a KU t-shirt. These kids have no affiliation whatsoever to KU. They don't live in Kansas. Their parents didn't go to Kansas. They obviously didn't go to Kansas. The ONLY reason they root for Kansas is because they win basketball games. That is not a real fan. That is a bandwagon fan. ISU has real fans. ISU supports their team whether they win or lose. Even when ISU had down years in basketball, Hilton was still packed. We still had crowds of people in KC every year. Our football team sucked this year and we still had over 50k a game. We are not front-running fans. We are not T-shirt fans. We support Iowa State because we are loyal to the school that we went to or our parents went to or is our home state team. We don't root for Iowa State because it is cool, we root for Iowa State because we truly love the Cyclones and would never ever love another.
