Didn't realize Freddy was a Vikings fan. I somehow love the man more today

I didn't think it was possible to love Fred more since it's already at the max with us ISU fans.

Love PA. He loves Freddy and as a byproduct, ISU hoops.

I think I tell this story nearly every time PA comes up on here, but it is so good, it never hurts to hear it again!

So Matty P and Ken Miller had PA often and they had him on right around the time Hoiberg was hired. They were obviously going to talk the Vikings, but Matt lead off the interview by asking about Hoiberg. The way he phrased the question you could tell that he thought that PA probably didn't have a clue who Hoiberg was and was probably as perplexed (to put it nicely) as Matt was about Hoiberg being hired. You could tell that Matt was shocked when Paul just started gushing about Fred and about how he had Fred on his show a lot and about how well liked he was in Minneapolis.

As an aside, if you like on PA's tweet saying he was having Fred on the show, there was someone asking why he doesn't have "Fran the Man" on.
