I think I read somewhere that the batteries only last for 5-10 years, so he would probably need to have an operation to get them replaced in the near future anyway.

Yep, they need replaced once every half decade or decade. This is pretty standard, especially in someone so young. But best wishes on a boring, routine surgery!

They just need to install a charging port, get a micro usb cable and plug Fred in for a couple hours. Just don't put me in charge because my phone battery runs out all the time.

I've heard he's considering the Johnny Orr haircut complete with solar panel to extend the battery life.

Hopefully to show how amazing it is that Fred overcomes this every day, rather than some weak attempt to make him look vulnerable.

Yea I was assuming weak attempt to make him look vulnerable but fortunately his recruits probably ignore the Rag.

We need to get Wesley in here to share his technology with us. I bet he's got a great system!

You be quiet, Fred's hair is beautiful!

I would donate my heart to The Mayor if needed. Unfortunately my heart probably wouldn't be much of an upgrade

For some reason the number of volunteer candy stripers has increased the past few days.

I heard that you were feeling ill. Headache, fever, and a chill. I came to help restore your pluck, cause I'm the nurse who likes to...

@franfraschilla: Thinking of the @ISUMayor32 as he heads to Mayo Clinic tomorrow. Guarantee right out of surgery, he could make 50 free throws in a row.

Shoot, he could probably make 25 in a row while under anesthesia.

I'm guessing his next contract extension will include a new mechanical heart. At that point nothing will be able to stop coach Hoiborg.
