9 of us are going to the game! Of course, 1 of them is ISU (me), 4 for Houston, and rest there to tailgate, eat and drink inside. The place is going to be packed with ISU fans.
Will Houston have 15k fans there? Sounds like support is wavering for Fritz already9 of us are going to the game! Of course, 1 of them is ISU (me), 4 for Houston, and rest there to tailgate, eat and drink inside. The place is going to be packed with ISU fans.
The ones calling for Fritz's removal are idiots or just venting. They played awful against Cincy but their QB is a turnover machine and coach needs time to recruit and coach. Campbell's 1st year results were bad too. Will Houston have 15k fans there? Sounds like support is wavering for Fritz already
No disagreement at all. And was not trying to be a smart ass. Was genuinely curious based on what I’ve seen/read from other UH fansThe ones calling for Fritz's removal are idiots or just venting. They played awful against Cincy but their QB is a turnover machine and coach needs time to recruit and coach. Campbell's 1st year results were bad too.
That was bad. The West Virginia game in 2021 with a total scrub QB ranks up there too.Their QB absolutely torched us in ‘21. Arguably Heacock’s worst performance.
As a fan, I don't need to listen to Houston fans to know that they suck. If we lose, it will be one of the worst losses of the Campbell era. Of course we CAN lose but I could not be less worried about a road game. The guys will be ready.I’m saying we shouldn’t as a fan base listen to how bad they think they may be, I’ve done that before as a fan and just assumed even as a Cyclone that we have 4-0 in the bag. This team has big potential
How come there are anomalies every week?Terrible is relative. Houston is a 4-8 G5 team this year which relative to P4 schools is terrible. The OU game was an anomaly. We should roll them
Isn’t going to happen again.Their QB absolutely torched us in ‘21. Arguably Heacock’s worst performance.
I agree, I was only referencing the fan base not Campbell and the players. I immediately thought looking at those posts how I used to think as a fan…if they know their team sucks we’re good to go…the cyclone nut cup then comes into play for me honestly. Was never referring to the team in itselfAs a fan, I don't need to listen to Houston fans to know that they suck. If we lose, it will be one of the worst losses of the Campbell era. Of course we CAN lose but I could not be less worried about a road game. The guys will be ready.
Because it's sports and that's in general how life works. There's 60+ FBS games a week, s***'s bound to happenHow come there are anomalies every week?
Respectfully, Houston is terrible and may be the worst team in the conference. If we are who we and the coaches think we are this game will not be close.

Of course. And why I said SHOULD roll themSo it's bound to happen to us too, but hopefully not this season.
Not "may be" - Cincinnati beat them 34-0. They ARE the worst team in the conference.
I think it’s also different team styles match up better/worse against certain teams’ style of play. Sometimes guys are just playing on fire and sometimes you have a night where every bounce, every play just goes wrong.Because it's sports and that's in general how life works.
