There's really nothing else you can say. If you lose this game, the wheels may have just fallen off the bus.

That's a huge win and a big time effort by our guys. I can't even begin to express how excited I am about that win. I don't think we've won many games against teams with that caliber for a few years now, so it's GREAT to get one tonight. Baylor's not an elite team but they're definitely dangerous and talented.

Crowd tonight as awesome. I'm not sure the attendance figures, and that could be improved, but that was a helluva lot of fun for those of us who made it tonight. Be sure to check this team out because this is the start of something special.

Any word on what the attendance was? The place was packed the only bare spot was above the East Basket.

I agree, great victory for the Clones. However, if one does a "complete 360", don't you just end up where you were before? Maybe you meant a 180?:spinny:

Speaking of complete turnarounds..

While i know last year was there and this year was in ames... they beat us by 21 last year in Waco. That's a 36 point swing in margin.

(i will grant that McD won by 9 here the last time it was at hilton... is Hilton to Baylor what Boulder is to ISU?)

You can just sense the Hilton Magic SLOWLY creeping back. The crowd has been really into it the past two games.

Yep, if we continue to win (or have tough losses, just no blow-outs), Hilton magic will be back in full force by the end of next year. And depending on how we finish out this season it might start to be more of a factor by the end of February.

I hope so.
The lower Cyclone Alley was great. If we could get them to fill their balcony portion, Hilton would be very close to being back.

It wasn't nearly packed. If you have bad seats like me it's pretty easy to see the empty seats. It was a really good crowd though.

When the team tries, so do the fans.

Yup.

Losing basketball games and playing a boring style kills fan interest.

Winning basketball games, playing exciting basketball, having Fred Hoiberg, and having a team try as hard as any in a long time at Iowa State.......fans enjoy that.

Oh, that and JVB and Scotty sharpshooting.
