Kane didn't shoot it at the end.I could have swore he said "you need to to talk to that kid, that mother ***** just shot the ball"...anyone know if Kane shot it at the end?
Oh yes.In the first half when Fred got up and went out on the court to chat with the refs, I think I read his lips then, If I'm not mistaken it wasn't safe for childrens television.
I have to agree whole heartedly, that moved me. I had never seen that before. Wow! I have always liked him, but that just solidified my respect for Coach Huggins.
I think it appropriate therefore I shall: cool story brahHow have people not seen this?!?! I not for the run Butler made to the final game, this would have been the story of the tourney that year. It was everywhere! I remember being at the bar and watching it and got a bit misty eyed seeing the passion for his players. You don't see that all too often anymore (I'm looking at you, Cal!)

I like his style. Coach Huggins is extremely candid as a previous poster eluded to. I don't know if you ever noticed but he doesn't seem very enthused with meeting with the press. Don't think interviews are his thing. But, he is an extremely intelligent coach.
You will never see Coach Huggins in a suit, as he ALWAYS wears a warm-up sweats to games. Coach Pat Knight was the only other coach that I could recall doing this.
I think he even wore a sweater for Big 12 Media day at the beginning of the season. He is a unique, genuine coach. And I dig that.
