He's a true freshman and the season hasn't even started yet. Saying he couldn't cut it anywhere is a ridiculous statement. Obviously they saw him on the o-line all along.
you are right, I was out of line with my statement. My bad.

I can already see Deyo taking over for Downing in 2023. I like it.

Deyo and Buhr on the interior could be a nasty duo.

The DL has honestly been underrated in its performance and consistently compared to everything else in the Campbell era.
I remember CPR always complaining about how difficult it was to find and develop defensive lineman. The coaching staff (especially Coach Rasheed) have done an excellent job.

We’re loaded on the interior of the D-Line…. not so much the case on the O-line. We need him a lot more on the OL.

Oline gonna be an eyeroll again this year. At least coaches not pumping sunshine like last season. I thought their technique looked surprisingly poor in the posted video. Slow feet, high bodies, weak hands, etc. And no #28 to cover it up. I'm more worried than I was prior to seeing the vid.

August hope/hype season is here.

This is another year of aspirations for some mixture of '85 Bears D and '99 Rams Offense.

I guess I didn’t think “our ol has been pretty average to below average for a long time” was such a hot take.

Or #32, Dekkers is going to have to get in the groove with his scrambling and hopefully the coaching staff features him in the running game designs to keep the defenses at maximum imbalance. That is like the #1 thing I’m watching for this season; are we going to progress and adapt as an offense or are we going to run in to brick walls, and then back up and just keep running in to it over and over to prove some point that apparently only college football coaches can understand.

I got torn up a bit last year about this time for throwing out that relying on the previous season for results doesn't always work and wondered if ISU would go 8-4ish instead of just winning because Fiesta Bowl.

Well at least we were all wrong.
