Let me start by saying I support TJ and am definitely not one of his “haters”. But I will say over the last few weeks it’s been beyond negative on here about TJ. I think some of us just need to shut our traps and give him a chance at this opportunity. People here are expecting him to fail before he even starts. It’s just sad to see all the non support of our brand new head coach. It’s sickening.

Starting A poll. I want to see if literally the majority of this board doesn’t support him, or if there is just a hand full of LOUD angry elf’s.

I support him like I support the troops. Neither has won a war in 60 years, though.

Is it so hard to say you support the coach without qualification?
How is that a qualification? It's not. I can guarantee any true Cyclone fan is hoping TJ never loses a game. You can hope for that, but still be upset with how the coaching "search" unfolded. To me, it was reminiscent of the hiring process for football jobs in Iowa City. I thought somebody made a really good observation in one of the threads; it seems like Jamie's perception of the job is a lot lower than that of a majority of national pundits. Throw in how the Nunn thing was apparently handled, (I'm not buying the excuses being made for it) and I'll admit I'm not exactly thrilled how things have gone down so far. None of this means I'm hoping he fails, quite the opposite.

Experience is what happens when things don’t go as planned. TJ will get experience.

JP’s last hire didn’t seem to have a high school level of experience when it came to setting screens and cutting.

Saying you would only declare your support as long as you can say you didn't support the hire is absolutely a qualification. That's not even debatable. Do you want to break out the definition?
