Not only are they extremely fun to watch, but they really care about each other. I don't know if we are going to win Sunday, but I know they are gonna give it all they have. Proud to have these guys represent us.

I didn't think I could love a team as much as last years, but here we are. I still believe in this team and I know they can win against UNC. I just feel so bad for Georges. He's easily up there amongst the greatest of Cyclones now.
We have had a great year. The injury sucks, but the team won't let it be an excuse. I hope that DeAndre and Melvin go out strong, but for us as Cyclone fans and Fred as a coach, this has only just begun. The future is bright as can be. This year is not even close to our ceiling.
Last years team might have been technically more talented at basketball compared to this years (it would be close). But this years team just shows what basketball is all about. I love how fearless and emotional the players are on the court, and how reserved Coach is on the sideline. Players all have the greenlight but everyone plays within their skill set and doesn't try to do too much.
I have rooted for the Cyclones since 2003. In those 11 years, following football and basketball. If Iowa state is in a close game I am on the edge of my seat. With this basketball team, they get down by double digits and I hardly sweat it. I know our players want it more than the other team and are going to get theirs. There is no quit. Sunday's game will be no different. We are finishers.

I love this team too, I just hate how it's going to end. Unless we win a NC, we'll always have to ask ourselves if we would have gone a round or 2 more with Georges.
The worst part of this whole thing is that we will look back on this amazing season and there will be one question, "what if". It's sad that we won't ever know what the potential of this team truly was. That's the toughest pill to swallow, just wanted to see what they could do. Even if it is losing to UNC, doesn't matter. I just want to know the answer to that question, and now we will never know since the team isn't the same without Niang.

Hopefully someone steps up and fills the most important shoes on our team. I think that this team can beat anyone. I suppose we will see how they come together. You would think that anyone would want to come and play two years with Georges and the crew.
