I need a whiskey recommendation

I recently received a $100 gift card from work, and have about $75 remaining on it. I would like to spend the rest on a nice bottle of whiskey. My favorites are Jack and Crown, but want to try something new. I was thinking of trying Johnnie Walker Green Label, but I like bourbon more than I like scotch, so I'm not sure if I'll go that way. Any recommendations?

As soon as I had the last child transported for the day, I hit the wine already. That usually doesn't happen before 6:00 pm at least, but it has been quite a week. May have to open a CF AA forum.

If Canadian is your flavor try Gibson's finest, if you can find it. Beats Crown hands down and Canucks know how to drink.

Massive amounts of fireball "cinnamon whiskey" and Busch light seems to do wonders in my neck of the woods

I will second Blanton's...that stuff is dangerously smooth and has a great finish. If you have access to it, you can't beat it.
