I bought a I-State hitch cover and it had no coloring. I bought it at the Book Store in the Memorial Union. I was a stainless steel hitch cover too. You should stop in there and look. I couldn't find it on the website. It was 24 bucks I think...

I live in New Orleans now...so stopping in might be a problem. However, what you're describing sounds like what I'm looking for. I'm pretty sure I've seen the one you have, and that's what set me off down this path of trying to find it.

Maybe I'll give them a call. Thanks!

Follow up... I just moved to Louisiana and I'm thinking about getting a personalized plate. The LA DMV has a website where you can check if the tag you want is taken already. My first choice (IOWAST8) was taken. I STATE, IA ST8, and I ST8 are all available, but I don't like those as much. I'm currently leaning towards GEAUXCY - sort of a spin off of the LSU fans thing (which is crazy popular and pervasive down here), but I don't know if people would just think it was pronounced GOOKSY or something.

Anyone got any good ideas? Here's the LA DMV site Louisiana Personalized Plate Inquiry

Anyone down there for the most part would get it. It'd cause more issues up here I think.

I kind of hate GEAUX anything, personally, just because it is so overused down there.

All the "CY" variations are probably open for you though.

Even though she didn't go to ISU, here is an octuplet mom cover for In Touch. Oh wait, you said "hitch," oops.

If you have a trailer hitch you definitely need to hang a pair of "balls in a sack" to complete the ensemble.
