Would Jamie immediately Fire Prohm and accept hoiberg back? I've asked a few cyclone fans this today and they think he'd do it in a second.

Pretty simple question people. Yes or no?

No.

I suppose Fred sitting around in Ames doing nothing could potentially make Prohm's seat a bit warmer that it would usually be if he has a couple of bad seasons, which would still be unfair to Prohm.

I had an idea once. But then it was shot down by my friends because they love me and don't want me wasting my time.

No. You cant fire Prohm for that.

However, if we ever had an opening and Hoiberg was interested (my guess is hes not though), id let him come back for sure.

Btw I like Prohm a lot. But there are still mad hoiberg lovers and if word got out that pollard wouldn't take him back he'd probably be crucified

Pollard might have a difficult time hiring other coaches if he did that to Prohm.

I love Hoiberg and he clearly had success. But you can tell now more than ever that he never built his teams for the long run (always hoping for an NBA job). That would scare me with him coming back. He clearly hates recruiting, and while I think he would approach it a bit different that he did during his 5 years, I would get tired of 1 or 2 year elgibile players changing every single year. That being said, he is my favorite Cyclone of all time. I would say keep Prohm and see how it works out if that situation somehow arose.

I think with prohm and TJ, we would have built a more consistent program with occasional better teams than fred ever had.

Hopefully we can continue getting promising recruits without TJ
