That's about as generic of a name for a restaurant that you can get.

Am I supposed to be excited about those half-filled margarita glasses?
I think most people for WTP are nostalgic for the circa 2010 version, not what was there at the end.To quote Jack Nicholson in a little film called Prizzi's Honor: "If WTP was so ****ing good, why is it so ****ing out of business?"

It’s probably more than you get in a typical margarita after they cram as much ice as possible in there first.Am I supposed to be excited about those half-filled margarita glasses?
Yep and almost zero tequila. It’s probably more than you get in a typical margarita after they cram as much ice as possible in there first.
Yes, but I don't really have any interest in eating there. Bad barbecue and a horrible owner.Isnt Jethros still open in Ames?
We honestly need to try Sweet Caroline's again. We went a couple times in the first year that they opened and everything was so slow that we kind of crossed it off our list.Wallaby's, Sweet Caroline's?
I watch a lot of sporting events at El Azteca.
The old Wallabys was so awesome, now that was a sports barWe honestly need to try Sweet Caroline's again. We went a couple times in the first year that they opened and everything was so slow that we kind of crossed it off our list.
I don't mind Wallabys but it doesn't really give off sports bar vibes to me, even though I know that's what they classify themselves as. Their prices have also gotten kind of wild in recent years.
It’s fine, not great, not bad.We honestly need to try Sweet Caroline's again. We went a couple times in the first year that they opened and everything was so slow that we kind of crossed it off our list.
Long live old Wallaby’s. Old wallaby’s was a vibe.I don't mind Wallabys but it doesn't really give off sports bar vibes to me, even though I know that's what they classify themselves as. Their prices have also gotten kind of wild in recent years.
I guess in my head that's what I was referring to lolI think most people for WTP are nostalgic for the circa 2010 version, not what was there at the end.

The new Wallabys is much better. The old Wallabys was so awesome, now that was a sports bar
BBQ was okay, not great and finding out the owner was a DB made it easy not to go there much. It helps that there are a lot better BBQ options (Kue'd, Smokey Ds, Watcha Smokin', etc)Yes, but I don't really have any interest in eating there. Bad barbecue and a horrible owner.
Decent food, their onion rings are great, very nice selection of beers on tap. We eat there once every couple of months. Have yet to have a good meal at Wallaby's, three times and always disappointing. Maybe I am just ordering the wrong stuff, but last time I tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was horrible. We honestly need to try Sweet Caroline's again. We went a couple times in the first year that they opened and everything was so slow that we kind of crossed it off our list.

Cactus Bobs in Johnston is solid also.BBQ was okay, not great and finding out the owner was a DB made it easy not to go there much. It helps that there are a lot better BBQ options (Kue'd, Smokey Ds, Watcha Smokin', etc)
