Incredible Fireworks Show at Iowa Speedway on Friday

I went to the Pyrotechnics Guild International fireworks show in Newton last night. It was amazing. Best fireworks I've ever seen. Bigger, higher, brighter, louder, more sophisticated, and better orchestrated! The last show is Friday. $20 was a great value.

Essentially, it is a bunch of pyro's showing off for other pyro's!

Thunderstruck Over Iowa Speedway to feature fireworks, concerts

So we were getting ready for bed and kept hearing what we thought was thunder. Pulled up the radar nothing. Lay down, keep hearing it. So I decide to look out the window and see fireworks off towards the speedway. Tell my wife it's fireworks and she says "Oh yeah I saw on the news there was a fireworks convention at Iowa Speedway this week".
