Watching the sidelines last night they were working on Brezina’s lower hamstring. Having him run and cut on sideline. He did come back in for around 1 play and then they shut him down. You could tell he wanted back in.
I re-watched the game and there was a play where he was pursuing the QB to the sideline and you could see at the end he was running awkwardly like he'd pulled a muscle. So my guess is the hamstring. Hopefully he'll be ready by Saturday.

That's what I thought too. One of those where they're chasing and just pull up slightly, dragging the leg a bit.

Why not all the other LBs on the roster? Rosters are so big with all the walkons, it might be hard to list them all off.

40 Mason Miller - 3 star true freshman.
42 Lance McShane - true freshman walkon
46 Danny Inglis - 3 star true freshman.
51 Nick Reinicke - RS freshman walkon

Actually, its super easy, barely an inconvenience.
+1 for the Ryan George reference

Heacock will just install a 5-0-6 defense. No LBs on the field.
I was thinking a 3-0-8. Six safeties would be about as safe a defense as you could get.

By 2028, Campbell & Heacock will start 11 tight ends on offense and 11 safeties on defense. And be top 4 in the conference on both sides of the ball somehow.

I don't know why we don't just run the 0-0-11. I've had enough of these half-measures, commit or f*** off!

Bacon (done)
Klosterman (done)

McLaughlin (maaaaybe not done?)
Brezina (no word yet, maybe not terrible?)

Bacon is for sure done for the year? Guess I never heard his exact injury. Acl?

CMC said today they were trying to redshirt Sadowsky, since he didn’t get to last year. Also implied that he’ll play—unless Brenna is ready to go.

In other words, they’d still like to redshirt him.
I think the interior D would be better with Sadowsky than the walkon who played last week.

Just my 2 cents.

If a player requests a redshirt, but the team needs their help, then what? Redshirt with transfer portal? I don't like the new system. Inmates are running the asylum.
