Well, back in the day I invented the internet, but someone hacked onto my website and stole my ideas.

Seriously, I've always wanted to come up with a all-in-one tv center. Something like a Tivo, Xbox, and computer combined.

Been done. They call it a computer. Does it all, and works like a charm. Throw some GBPVR, or Media Portal on your PC with a HD TV Tuner card, and you have it.

I personally will go with a hackintosh desktop with Plex installed for my media center. 1 TB hard drive shall suffice........for now.

Just post on here. I promise I won't take the idea myself.

Here I can give you one! A TV Remote with a buzzer. Go up to your TV when you can't find the remote, press a button and your remote will make a noise so you can find it. I realized i needed this after my wife has lost the one we have 10000000 times.

They probably already have this invented, and I need it now

I've actually seen that.
There's always those invention idea commercials on TV. I know a guy who is probably not the most credible, but he said he sent an idea in one time, they called him back asking for more money for patents, etc. He said he wanted to think about it and never called them back. A year later he saw it at Walmart.

I am looking for an invention that allows a intelligent car to do small errands such as picking up and dropping kids off at school. That would be a time saver, plus you would not have to adjust your work schedule.:jimlad:

You are saying I am not credible? I told you a blanket with sleeves would be a gold mine.

I've had an idea for some time.....

A super absorbent towel made in Austria. I'll market it over the TV only and call it the ShamGolly.

Curious for everyone's feedback.

This would be a killer application for TV viewing as shows get more boring.
Let the computer within the TV subsititute your favorite faces for the original characters. You could put the face of your dreaded neighbor in a Japanese stunt show and let him run into a wall. You could put yourself in the show LOST. Your spouse could be the star in CSI. That could make TV viewing more enjoyable if you knew all the actors and actresses personally. Just a thought as we need more innovation so people have something new to buy....

Went to the Home Show this weekend. The ShamWow was a hit. Everyone was walking around with them.

Google has a special patent search feature but I don't have address. I'd suggest making sure an idea is not already patented. there are some prett wild ideas that already have patents on them.

I want Tivo like controls for my car radio. So I can pause or backup a live broadcast. This can't be that hard to do.
