Did they donate for more than just a stadium? It's nice they gave to the sports program, but I imagine the school itself would appreciate a donation for education enhancements.

The football stadium was already going to be built and the school district was paying for it. Now those funds that would have been directed to that project can be directed toward an academic wing and a performing arts auditorium.

They are nice people. Down to earth and have been very great for the community. The Stadium was going to be done anyway so this just frees money to use on academics and fine arts. I do give him crap about the hawks once in awhile and who knows if the locker room actually gets painted pink or not. It was more or less a joke at first and now its almost like they have too. And they can repaint it something else if they want. I am very glad they decided to stay around and be part of the community though. Huge boost for a growing district.
