This. Brewer was a HANDFUL and we likely lose if he doesn’t get kicked out. Anyone saying otherwise didn’t watch the game.
When I walked out, I remember saying to myself we got damn lucky with the ejection.
This is completely false.

It has no bearing on this game, but the only way we could lose that game was to turnover the ball and let Baylor score quickly. We went conservative on both sides, and won exactly how the staff likely envisioned after taking a 28-7 lead to start the fourth without DM.

I don't bet, but I do find it interesting that Baylor kind of struggled with Rice, who is traditionally pretty bad, especially on defense. Baylor did not score in the second half.

I also agree that the officials need to look for the Baylor cheap shots early and often. Still pissed about last year's game, and the fact that DM had to sit out the first half of the TX game.

Hope ISU puts 70 on those scumbags!

Are they really separate? It seems like William Hill would keep their lines somewhat consistent across all their sports books. If they are separate I wonder if it is due to licensing or regulation rather than business reasons.

Yes, they are completely separate lines.

Ya'll should checkout Baylor twitter out. It is comedy at it's finest. Their fans hate us as much as we hate them and it all stems from Butler B**ching their DB which they try to claim is what started the fight LMAO. Best of all, they are PROUD that their guy threw a punch at Montgomery over a ref. Can't make this stuff up people.

Or gambling is legal in Iowa and fans in this state have put big money down. Frankly, I may have to go out to Altoona and get my log in to put money on Baylor. It will ensure that ISU wins handily.
The numbers were all based on Vegas at the point you are referencing. Betting in Iowa had almost no impact on that spread change.

This shows the opening line and the changes at all the casinos, not just those with Iowa ties.

Here you can see how the line changed over time...

I still want to see some solid production from our RBs in this one. If those guys can get a 100 yard game on the ground, Purdy does his thing, the D does their thing, and special teams doesn't go all special ed - I think we win this one.

Exactly. Been missing that. I felt like the ULM 72 points were good but wanted to see more rushing for the sake of development. Having said that I would predict CMC has some tricks up his sleeve for Baylor. I predict we win this game by 2 touchdowns.
