That play could quite possibly be the play of the season. I'm not saying that ISU won't have bigger wins this season, but we may not have a single play better than that one play. My jaw dropped when I first saw that play.

Same here, I just thought oh **** when i saw him running towards the sidelines, thinking he was just going to throw it away or be sacked. Needless to say it turned out better than i thought.

I think 99% of the stadium thought he was throwing the ball away. I then looked to the endzone and saw Lenz running to the corner and the next thing you know, the place is going crazy. Simply awesome!

That play not happening could have ended ISU's bowl hopes...

I'm fairly certain it would have ruined them. UNI was supposed to be the slam dunk game this year, losing that would have been a killer.

This where most people underestimate UNI - they are a veteran team this year I could see them going far into the playoffs and maybe get to the Championship game. The top tier Div-IAA schools are as good/better than the bottom two or three teams in BCS conferences. This weekend Richmond beat Duke, E Washington beat Oregon St and I think there was another one. I'm just glad we avoided this list.

Sacramento State beat Oregon State. Washington barely beat Eastern Washington 30-27. Eastern Kentucky also almost beat Kansas. The gap between FCS and FBS is shrinking all of the time, and the gap within FBS of BCS and not-BCS is also shrinking.

Not to mention that Virginia Tech lost against Boise State then James Madison, then won the rest of their games up to their date with Andrew Luck. Losing to an FCS team doesn't exactly end your season, but it does hurt.

Also, David Ubben seems to have a gigantic man crush on Jantz. He can't go 2 sentences referring to Iowa State without mentioning his boy Steele Jantz.

That type play, has not happened at Iowa State since Seneca Wallace or Sage, Think of the circumstances, watch the play, see Steele execute... That was something special, and I fell on my *** celebrating all of the above after that play.

Agreed! I lost my stuff (and my voice) on that play. I was totally "that fan" in my section. Loved it.

Meyer to Blythe against A$M qualifies as one of those plays.

So does Arnaud to Banks against Iowa and Tiller to (what's his name) against Nebraska.

Yeah, I honestly didn't believe it really happened, and wasn't even considering it for real until after the review. One awesome throw given the pressure and situation.
