Shocker all black gear for the team.

Wonder if we are going to have a color on color match-up for the Bowl? Orange for the Canes and we wear Black?

How to make Pop-Tarts even better?

Toast them in an I-State toaster!

Yes, we will have the I-State toaster for use at our Pop-Tarts Bowl tailgate in Orlando.

He's probably getting a bonus just to play the first series. After that I'd suspect a healthy insurance policy should he suffer some type of injury. They're probably thinking they can get up on Iowa State 35-0 by halftime and he can take the rest of the day off.
That’s my thought. I’m thinking his NIL deal requires him to play in a bowl or offers a bonus to play in the bowl. Otherwise, I have no idea why he’d play in this game as a top 3 pick.

Damn- I don't remember being that annoying. Although you could probably hear my trombone over the rest of the band. ;) That kick looked good to me, BTW. It's wild to think about how mediocre Alabama was at the time.

I was there too. If we get the punt off without it getting blocked we win. No way was Bama going the length of the field on our def.

One of the strangest games I have ever attended. FWIW, I was on the ISU side, in Cyclone gear rooting on the good guys. Alabama literally had 1.5 drives in the game, both for TDs, and Seneca and the Cyclones moved up and down the field between the 20s and at least doubled them in yardage, etc. but had to settle for 5 FG attempts - missing 3 of them. Alabama's FG defense was incredible that night. / sarcasm. ISU was the better team for most of the game. Very disppointing result.

Agree with last sentence. Almost every mock draft has him only behind Sanders and in the top three picks of the draft. This game isn’t going to change an already great draft spot for Ward.
Unless he gets hurt.

Also at that game, ISU was the better team all of the game! What a typical ISU way to lose, more yardage, more time of possession, have a punt blocked, miss 3 FG's and lose by 1.

Merry Christmas!

Miami is overrated and I question how much heart they're going to put into the game. I think we get an 11th win. Ward in particular, c'mon, he ain't going 100%, anyone that thinks so is delusional. I'm shocked they could even convince him to suit up. He's a top 10 pick in the NFL draft, why the hell would he play in a meaningless bowl game against Iowa State? I don't get it.

That’s an idiotic take.

Good summary.

Iowa State should have won that by ~two TDs. Seemed to be some anti-matter force field when we reached the 30-yard line.

I just hope that we show up looking like we prepared and have an interest in trying to win this game. That has been a high bar to clear with this staff in bowls.
