Tickets bought for 8 pm tonight, love being able to purchase on the net. Not to decide how early we need to be in line, that is usually valuable cocktail time but sitting up front is no fun at all...decisions, decisions.

I nerded it up last night and went to the double feature of Iron Man and Iron Man 2. I was fairly apprehensive going into it with all of the new characters. I was expecting a Spider-Man 3 type **** storm. I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised. Some good references to future movies are in the movie as well. And again, sit through the credits.

Movie Snob:biglaugh:

Why can't a movie just be entertainment instead of needing to have Oscar winning performances or stunning cinemetography?

So then the obvious question is why are you posting on a thread entitled "Iron Man 2"?

Couple questions: When you do go to movies, do people complain about your top hat? And if you go to a 3-D movie, does your monocle interfere with the glasses?

Monocle is no problem, but I have had several complaints about my top. I even got the extra tall top hat so I usually sit in the back, last time I went all the back seats were filled so I had to move up front.

Being a movie elitist, I have a hard time believing it would be difficult to find a good seat. I don't see you and the average layman going to the same movies.

I'd like to hear what movies you like. Maybe I can call them garbage too. Iron Man 1 was actually a pretty good movie. Good action, good humor, great effects. Also some decent actors in Downey Jr, Paltrow and Bridges. If someone had to pay you to sit through a good old-fashioned summer action movie like that, I genuinely feel sorry for you.

Now, someone would have to pay ME alot of money to sit through Sex in the City 2 where they go to the Middle East. That looks f'in awful.

Top hats are excellent for keeping your head warm.. they crank the A/C in those theaters. The part I have problem with is the fact I like to sit about halfway back, and people always trip over my cane. Clumsy peons.
