And bam, it's as simple as that. I felt like when watching Noland he was locked in on 1 WR and wouldn't progress through his reads. Now, granted he half the time couldn't get to those options because he'd be sacked by then. It's as simple as Brock using his feet and fakes to get his positioning or buy himself time to allow routes to open up. He emphasizes the details and helps himself out by doing so.

Well, that, and the fact that the pass rushers didn't care one bit if they lost contain, because not much bad was going to happen. They'd just pin their ears back and go.

No question now that Brock Purdy is our starter for as long as he is healthy. I loved the way he bounced back from the poor start on ISU's first 2 possessions (bad throw to Eaton, then the interception). I was super excited entering the season with Kempt. He is so cool and calm and accurate and makes great decisions. Purdy is all of those things with feet like Seneca Wallace and the toughness of Austen Arnaud.

We have a legit chance to win out if everyone stays healthy. I hope it is enough to get us into the Big 12 championship.

Purdy had a big ass cigar in his mouth in the locker room after the game. GOAT status

If we beat Texas we'll have a chance. Definitely will need some help though.

That’s a crappy thing to say. You wanna screw over Incarnate Word? We owe them a game....

I like Purdy's mobility, but let's not overdo it. I'll just assume you never saw Seneca on a scramble.

Yes, skip the Big 12 Championship game for a team that many of us (me anyway) though was a company of some sort before they scheduled the game.

Come on man, do you really believe its a 2-man race? Campbell is putting OR on the depth chart because he doesn't officially want to name Brock as the starter. Let WVU D prepare for both QB's. Even OSU prepared for both. It's likely WVU already knows who they're facing anyways.

ISU last night showed that different players work best for different situations. Warren came in to run block, and did a nice job with it.

Actually last night would have been a good time to give Warren the ball in the seams.
